This was two weeks ago. I feel that I had a valid claim for reimbursement, so I sent in a petition. Two weeks ago.
I haven't heard a word since.
Now, the common idea is that it takes two to three weeks for a reimbursement petition to finally get settled.
That's an absolute crock of ****.
It should NOT take three weeks to take care of a customer complaint, and if it DOES take three weeks you need to hire more personel in order to deal with the situation more effectively, and more efficiently.
However, it is my belief that this delay is INTENTIONAL.
I believe they actively make us wait in order to make reimbursement less attractive an option. By making us wait several weeks they ensure that only those who are willing, or who absolutely must wait that length of time file reimbursements.
This, as a policy, is grossly unfair. The game, through whatever malfunction, has snatched away something I worked very hard for. Now I have to wait nearly a MONTH to get it back... and that's only assuming they decide to give it to me.
They could just turn around and say "nah, don't feel like it", but I have to wait that month to find out one way or another.
Like I said, it's a crock of **** and it is a failing as a business that they adhere to either such policies as intentionally making people wait...or find such **** poor customer service 'acceptable'.
Connection was fine, as you were seeing the damage income. I bet you were warp scrambled by NPC's and you didnt see it. Hitting warp while being scrambled doesnt move your ship at all.
Next time be aligned, and check frigates surrounding you if you see a scrambling effect. Get your drones ready to help etc...
